Bregg Poha (Bread+Egg Mixture)

I am highly fascinated with egg. It is one thing you can do blind experiments with and this is what this recipe is all about. Well I call it BREGG POHA since its a mixture of Bread & Egg. You can give your own name if you like.

The recipe is for those lazy Sunday mornings when cooking is just not on your mind. Easy & Quick- Bregg Mixture.


Tomato- 1

Capsicum- 1

Onion- 1

Egg- 2 whole

Bread Crumbs- 1 cup

Oil- 1 tbsp

Cumin Seeds- 1 tbsp

Turmeric- 1 tbsp

Red Chilli Powder- 1 tbsp

Lemon Juice- 1 tbsp

Salt- To taste


Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Add onions and saute for 2 min. Now add capsicum and again saute for 2 min. Add spices to it now and leave for 3-4 min. Add diced tomatoes. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and add it to the vegetable mixture. Keep stirring till the egg mixture thickens and take shape of crumbs. Add bread crumbs now and saute till bread becomes soft. Add lemon juice and salt to taste and Bregg Mixture is now ready to serve.
