Yet another easy to make Chutney. Amla (Gooseberry) Chutney.
I use Amla in many other forms in my diet as it is such a rich source of Vitamin C. Easily available and full of flavours. They very well relate to the saying- Big thing comes in small packages. So here I go with my Amla Chutney.
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1tsp
Salt to taste
Grind Amla in a mixer. You can maintain the consistency by adding a little water. Now in a pan, add some oil and add cumin seeds to crackle. Now add the Amla paste, salt and red chilli powder in the paste and saute for 5 minutes. Transfer the chutney in a bowl and serve this tongue tickling chutney to give your meal that extra kick!
